Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, England. The television show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In The Sixth Sense a film filled with suspense, she starred. The O.C. Her TV series The O.C. Alongside her role, she starred in the cult TV series The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. Benjamin McKenzie played her romantic interest. Barton's first appearance on TV was in 1994 when she played the role of a young Corvina hero in flashbacks from the soap-opera All My Children. She was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg, who had appeared as Lily Benton Montgomery in the show. Katie Singer guest-starred as Jessie Sammler, Evan Rachel Wood's lover in the eight seasons from Once and Again. In 2001, Barton made her debut on film in Lost and Delirious, an independent Canadian film based on Susan Swan's novels The Wives of Bath. Barton along with her co-stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo received mixed reviews. Comaneci was awarded her medals in 1996 when she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal listed Comaneci among the top 100 Women in the 20th Century. Comaneci was got married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April of 1996. The couple has one son, Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of the many companies in the field of gymnastics that they own together. Comaneci serves on several charitable boards, including her position on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. After a decade, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of numerous other charities in her home country of Romania. These include those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
