Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress, best known for her roles in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Kun..! In the 80s when she started her acting career. She became popular with the role of Tezaab in which she appeared with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. In Mumbai her home, she grew up by middle class parents. When she was a young age, she started to take dance lessons. While still a teenager she tried her hand at acting, but the majority of her early movies did not succeed. Then she found her feet and went on to become one of the top actors within the Indian film industry. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the industry. In recent times, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her social works as well.
