Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves opera and tangos, and the dramatic shows that she attends. She started singing and studying the piano with her mom, then began more intense vocal training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
